Are you a parent, educator, or just curious about giftedness and twice exceptionality (2e)?

Join us for a relaxed Meet & Greet in the Park to connect, share experiences, and learn more about the unique strengths and challenges of gifted and twice-exceptional individuals.

Talking to your child's school can be a terrifying experience. This presentation will assist parents with practical strategies to break down some of the barriers between parents and the schooling system and offers some practical strategies to assist parents to support their children. Anthony Stevens is a current school administrator and has been the Qld State President of QAGTC for over 10 years.

Susan Stevens (B.Sc, Dip. Ed (University of Sydney); M.(gifted)Ed (UNE); MHN (Deakin)) will present on the characteristics and identification of gifted learners.
In this presentation, you will have the opportunity to hear about the challenging and surprising characteristics that gifted children often present.

The start of a new school year can present certain challenges for parents of gifted and GLD students. Join us on the 4th of March to share how the year has started for you and let us know what you want to know more about in upcoming sessions. Please note the new location for our meetings this year - Mt Ommaney Library.

Join us for a round-table discussion on the controversial article 'Why gifted children are just as likely to fail in life'.
Bring your own mug for refreshments and contribute a gold coin to support provisions.
No concurrent activities for children will be provided during the event.
