Gold Coast Branch

The Gold Coast branch of QAGTC has a range of activities for gifted children, their parents, teachers and interested community members. These are open to both members and non-members.

  • We hold monthly children's activities (except for school holidays), usually on Saturday afternoons.
  • We also hold our parent support group (PSG) on the same day as our children's workshops so parents/carers are able to attend whilst their children are engaged in our workshop activities.
  • We hold a variety of parent and teacher seminars throughout the year, usually with a guest speaker.
  • Gold Coast Branch Committee hold meetings once a month (during term time).

Our Gold Coast Branch Committee 2011-12:

  • President: Michelle Ronksley-Pavia
  • Vice-President/PSG Coordinator: Carol Barnes
  • Treasurer: Jen Hamley
  • Committee member: Geraldine Townend
  • Committee member/First Aid Officer: Lilli-Anne Anderson
  • Committee member: Anita Blay
  • Committee member: Lesley Sutherland
  • Committee member: Phillip Robin

Please note that we are a member-funded, volunteer-based organisation. We endeavour to answer queries and emails in a timely fashion, but please be aware we are all volunteers giving up our own time, volunteers who are dedicated to supporting gifted children, their families and their teachers, your patience would be appreciated.
