The Brisbane West Branch of QAGTC will facilitate a range of activities for gifted children, carers, parents and teachers during the year.

Commencing with:

A series of Parent Information Nights:

We have just completed a series of information nights for the Parents of gifted children.  Interested Parents, Carers & Teachers were most welcome to attend.

Topics:

• 29/08/11:  Introduction to Gifted Children           
• 05/09/11:  Provisions for Gifted Children      
• 12/09/11:  How Social and Emotional Factors Impact on Gifted Students' Well-Being and Achievement                         

Support Group Meetings

Brisbane West Support Group meetings welcome Parents, Carers and Teachers of gifted children.  Meetings will be held on selected Monday evenings (7:30 – 9:00pm).

These meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss the needs of our gifted children by sharing of knowledge and experiences.

We can also identify topics of interest for future West Branch events:
