This web site has a feeling of neglect about it:
When will that awful flashy "Watch this space" disappear?
Surely it should have gone when registration was available.
It implies you are still waiting for that, but the event itself is past.
Past Conferences has only 2 entries, all others have no link.
17th is fine, listing the abstracts, but the 18th in March 2010
has a guide for submission of abstracts (due Jan 2010!).
Upcoming conferences lists the 18th conference again!
And again it appears under "about us" -- what's going on here?
Navigation links seem a bit chaotic.
Hover over "For Parents and Educators", we see "Forums"
with "Parent Forum" - "Ministerial Feedback"
and "Teacher Forum" - "Website Feedback"
but Website Feedback is a topic under Parent Forum.
What of the other topics raised? Don't they get a mention here?
Looking at the Parent Forum as an example, it is hard to make any sense of the structure. Ministerial Consultation with 4 topics actually has only 2?
It is a pity that links are so obscure.
Some headings are in fact links, but hovering shows only some as underlined.
Why not use the widely established standard (underlined = link)?
While I like the fact that you have a new website, and agree that it has much more 'design' and a better feel, I find it difficult to look at, and navigate around. some it feel too pale and the blue background is a bit too intense. It also feels a bit laborious to find some information i.e. I sometimes feel I'm going round in circles.
