QAGTC Branches and the Management Committee run activities for the benefit of members and their children. As the Association is a volunteer based, member funded and not-for-profit, organisers and members are not paid for their efforts in coordinating or supervising activities.
We are constantly mindful of the costs associated with running activities for children and parents and strive to keep costs to a minimum. We welcome any volunteer assistance that is offered by members.
Assistance greatly appreciated in the past has included attending the registration desks at conferences, supervising children during lunch periods at conferences, organising games nights, assisting with the distribution of children's lunches etc.
Should you be in a position to assist with a particular activity, please feel free to offer the organisers whatever assistance (no matter how small) as this support is highly valued by us and greatly appreciated.
