The workshop will present information from research into gifted children and their needs at home and at school. Participants will be invited to generate tips to create a ‘Top Eight’ list of tips for parenting gifted kids, for talking with them, and for advocating with teachers. These will be covered in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where everyone's contribution will be welcome.
Phillip Robin provides assessment services through his private practice which focuses on psychometric assessment of intelligence. Having begun psychological testing in the mid 1990's, Phillip has extensive experience in evaluating ability and working with students of all ages.
There will be time for discussion and questions. The seminar will be useful for parents and teachers of gifted children at both the primary and secondary levels. Community members are also welcome. Tea and coffee will be served and information available on gifted resources and contacts.

- Non-member cost: $ 20 (non-member couple $25)

Places are strictly limited for this workshop – maximum of 20 - first in will reserve a place. Bookings and payment are mandatory. Step 2: Pay your workshop fee via EFT – details will be emailed to you once your Step 1 email has been received. Please deposit the funds directly into the QAGTC bank account making sure to put your surname with “0055" in the description. Bookings are only confirmed once this payment has been received.
