Scratch is an interactive programming environment developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) media lab.  Scratch is a visual programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.

Programmers learn important mathematical and computational ideas, whilst also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. Students will be shown how to make a basic interactive game and have the opportunity to develop and refine it.

Students should have an email address in order to sign up and register for online tutorials.

This workshop also includes a 30min optional typing tutorial to assist students to improve their typing technique and speed.
