These guidelines should be followed in presenting your paper, discussion group,
or interactive workshop at the conference.
For a 40-minute paper, presenters should aim to speak for about 30 minutes
allowing 10 minutes at the conclusion for discussion.
A chairperson will monitor times.
Chairpersons should introduce the speakers, remain for the session and monitor the speaker's time.
A workshop session has an 80 minute time slot.
Workshops or panel discussions should be interactive.
We aim to
provide participants with opportunities to engage in active learning experiences through discussion and sharing
of innovative ideas with other participants.
Presenters should plan to finish on time to allow participants to move to the
next session, which in most cases is a lunch or tea break.
A quiet room will be available for presenters' use over the weekend. The
registration desk will have the key.
Presenters are encouraged to stay as long as
possible at the conference and to join in discussions with participants in
informal settings.
Abstracts will be published in the printed conference program as well as on this web site.
Other material may be submitted to the Webmaster by email to be published after the conference.
MS Word Documents are preferred to Powerpoint or long Adobe Acrobat format files.
You are welcome to bring papers for distribution but
photocopying will not be available
at the venue.
