Challenge 2017: Workshops for Gifted Children

Thanks for a fabulous time during the QAGTC Children's Challenge workshops. A terrific group of children who were very appreciative of the exciting activities enjoyed two days of fun and wonder.

Thanks, too, to our lineup of amazing presenters and to Churchie for hosting us again this year.

To accelerate or not! Have your say!

Lynn Dare and Dr. Susen Smith, in a collaboration between UNSW and Western University, Canada, are seeking volunteer research participants for a research project about students’, parents’ and teachers’ beliefs about acceleration for high-ability students.

Would the research project be a good fit for you?
The study might be a good fit for you if:

  • You are a high-ability student ages 9 to 14 years, OR
  • You are a parent of a high-ability child (or children), OR
  • You are a teacher
See the attached information sheet for more details.
