The Queensland Association for Gifted and Talented Children Inc. (QAGTC) is a member-funded, volunteer-based organisation dedicated to supporting and developing gifted children.

In addition to providing members with a quarterly journal as a forum for exchange of ideas and information, we also provide a resource library, support and information service (for children, parents and educators), children's and adults' activities, and advocacy for advancing the cause of gifted children within communities, education systems and government. Workshops are also conducted on a range of gifted-related topics. QAGTC conducts a major conference for the state on an annual basis, and provides support to regional conferences.

In addition a branch network functions in some areas as self-help for parents, teachers and children, and organises seminars with invited speakers, as well as providing opportunities for gifted children to interact with their peers. All of the activities are available to every member. Branch members also provide mutual support and share ideas and practical support.

Please download the membership application form and forward it, together with your remittance to the QAGTC office at the above postal address.

Memberships are ratified at Management Committee meetings which are held monthly, so please allow up to five weeks for processing (more over the summer holidays). To ensure you are notified of events and activities, you may wish to join the Activities Email list now.
