Gold Coast Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Gold Coast Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Saturday 4th September 2010 at 3:00pm, at Robina State High School, Investigator Drive, Robina.

The Gold Coast Branch was reformed in October 2002 and this will be our 8th AGM since then.  To help us continue with our work, could I please ask you to either make sure that you are in attendance at this meeting or please send us your proxy so that the meeting does not need to be rescheduled.  You may also appoint the chairperson of the meeting as your proxy. Proxies and nomination forms need to be emailed/mailed and received by Friday 27^th August 2010. Please email to goldcoast [at] qagtc [dot] org [dot] au (goldcoast [at] qagtc [dot] org [dot] au)  The Gold Coast Branch of the QAGTC has been very active this year offering numerous workshops for teachers, parents and children. We would like to continue to offer many varied activities.

Refreshments will be served.

Some of our activities over the last 12 months have included:

Monthly children’s workshops; Library of resources for parents and teachers of gifted children; Parent/teacher information sessions; Social events and outings; Parent Support group.

We are interested in hearing ideas from our members as to what they would like to see us achieve over the next 12 months to increase the benefits of membership.  If you have any General Business you would like discussed at the AGM or discussed at any of the committee meetings please write or email us with the details and we will put this on the agenda for the meeting.  It is important that this is sent to us at least 7 days prior to the meeting for administration purposes.  Committee meetings are open to all members, so if you would like to come along to a committee meeting you would be most welcome.  We would like to thank all members for joining the QAGTC and for supporting our work on the Gold Coast. We hope that you can make the meeting on Saturday 4^th September 2010.  If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to email goldcoast [at] qagtc [dot] org [dot] au (goldcoast [at] qagtc [dot] org [dot] au)
