Getting to know FLASH

FOR STUDENTS - Make your own moving animation using Flash! This is a chance for you to try out what web designers use to build websites that move. Come along at the beginning of the session for a bonus 30min to improve your typing skills.

This is an introductory course to Adobe Flash CS4. Flash is used to create most animation, video and interactive multimedia on the internet, it is the industry-leading authoring software for the web. Students will be given an overview of the Flash interface and learn how to create basic graphics and animation. There will be an opportunity to create a multimedia presentation using video and sound.  Students should bring a USB flash memory stick.  Exemplars and further tutorials will be provided. This workshop will include an optional 30min typing tutorial.

Please pay your workshop fees to confirm your booking. Details for payment will be emailed once your tentative website booking has been received. Bookings must be made with full payment by Tuesday 1st June 2010. Unfortunately no late payments can be accepted, payments made without booking and bookings made without payment cannot be accepted.
