"Gifted Children's Conference"

Venue: Robertson State School, Brisbane

This conference is designed to be a stimulating experience for gifted students from Year 1 to Year 10. The level of difficulty in the workshops is aimed at two years ahead of their present Year level, thus providing a challenging program for gifted students. The conference also provides an opportunity to socialise with like minded children with similar interests.

Year Levels 1 to 3,   Years 4 and 5,   Years 6 and 7,   Years 8 to 10

The courses are developed and presented by teachers with special interest in gifted students, and are designed to stimulate the interests and curiosity of gifted students.

Workshops are offered in a variety of academic disciplines.

Some are offered in a short (one day) format, others extend over both days.

Each day will commence with a plenary session where all the children and their parents will be addressed by one of the invited speakers, after which the parents will have a further 30 minutes discussion with the speaker.
