The Conference commences on Sunday, July 4, 1999 and continues through two exciting days of keynote addresses and practical and philosophical concurrent workshops. All materials have been designed to cater for the needs of both primary and secondary teachers.
Conference timetable.
Keynote speakers include Eddie Braggett,
Bruce Knight, and Toni Noble. These professionals have been working in
the field with Gifted and Talented students for many years and can provide
practical ideas for catering for outstanding students in any classroom.
Chrys Bouffler will add to this "gifted" expertise with her insights into
the literacy aspects available for enrichment.
Workshop sessions will include diverse
areas of both primary and secondary curricula, and include hands on sessions
with technology, multiple intelligences, environmental activities and problem
solving. Two presenters will provide an aboriginal perspective to our conference.
There will be book displays and opportunities to share experiences and
ideas with parents and colleagues.
If you would like to ensure you
are catering for the individual in your class, then this conference is
for you!
