About QAGTC Activities
Does the family have to belong to QAGTC?
Not really. We encourage visitors, but offer discounts for members for many of
the activities.
QAGTC members are parents, teachers and other people interested in the welfare
of gifted children and freely give their time in helping others. Like any
voluntary organisation we are always looking for new members, and enthusiastic
support from existing members.

to apply for membership.
How important is the RSVP?
We need to know if we have enough people coming to make the event viable.
We need to be able to contact you if there is a change (in location, time,
date).
We need to know (even at the last minute) if you are no longer able to come;
the numbers may be limited.
If you just turn up on the day (and it is still on), we will try but may not be
able to accommodate you.
Cost?
All events cost something to run, even if only advertising, power and
lighting, so there will be a charge, usually with a discount for QAGTC members.
Activities at venues away from the Stafford premises
or with other professional presenters will incur charges relative to costs.
Remember that all donations ($2 or over) to QAGTC Inc. are tax deductable.
Legal liability
QAGTC can no responsibility for any accidents or injuries
that may occur during, or as a result of, any participation in any activities.
For activities at the QAGTC premises we expect one parent or guardian to stay
during the activities. Parental supervision is also required at most of the
other activities.

Some suggestions:
How about doing … as a family activity?
If you have an idea about an activity we could use, let us know.
Why not ask if you could help organise it?
See the QAGTC Contacts page,
in particular the Activities Co-ordinator and the Branch contacts.
