Presenter's Guidelines for Submission of Papers
These guidelines should be followed in submitting your proposal for a paper,
discussion group, or interactive workshop at the conference.
Abstracts will be selected according to standards of academic merit,
relevance to gifted education or development of gifted children, and on their
usefulness to practitioners, researchers and parents of gifted children.
Submission Guidelines
Presentations may be 35 minute papers or discussion groups, or 80 minute
interactive workshops.
Abstracts should contain sufficient information to guide participants in
matching their interests and selecting their programme.
The following information should be included:
- Title,
- Short title for timetable,
- Authors' full names with the presenting author noted,
- Affiliation,
- Your contact details
- mailing address
- telephone and
- e-mail
- The Abstract
- about 200 words
- no extensive bulletted lists
- 12 point Times Roman font
- MS-Word document or RTF by email or on diskette
- A brief biographical note (50-100 words).
- Please indicate any special needs. All rooms have a white board or
chalk board, and Overhead Projector.
Slide projectors, data projectors and Video players are available in
some rooms, but computers are not supplied.
Indicate if you require a flat floor (movable tables and chairs).

the venue.
- Completed Registration Form.
All abstracts and biographical data will be edited to a common style for the
Conference Program and will be published in the program and on the conference
web site. Please note that when registering, conference speakers are granted
the QAGTC member's discounted fee.
