Gifted refers to combining the efforts of all of us - parents, teachers and communities - as we continue to strive to help children make good use of their ability and find satisfying pathways in life. We are the sum total, symbolized by , of all our efforts and together we can support each other in ensuring that gifted children are identified and extended in their development. Together we search for ways to support them throughout their years of childhood.

Gifted: A rising tide that lifts all ships is the theme to promote the principle that gifted education strategies are of benefit to all students. The conference workshops will focus on promoting and sharing exciting, challenging curriculum and pedagogy originating in the gifted field and which can be applied to all learning environments that lift achievement levels of all, as well as solutions and strategies for parents faced with the task of meeting the needs arising from raising gifted children.

QAGTC is seeking practitioners to share their expertise/insights in the challenge of gifted students. Teachers, coordinators, administrators, parents and other professionals interested in providing engaging sessions for participants are encouraged to submit proposals aimed at either a novice or an experienced audience.

We invite you to submit your abstracts for interactive workshops (80 minutes), panel discussions (40 or 80 mins) and seminars/papers (40 mins) for consideration.

Intending presenters MUST address the guideline requirements.

It is a requirement that all presenters be prepared to register and participate in the conference.
