Talking (and Listening!) to Gifted Children about being Gifted:

Student Voice and Self-Advocacy”

Sue Prior has a BEd (special needs) and an MEd (leadership and gifted education) and is a qualified teacher who has worked in Sydney, Perth, India and Thailand. She is currently employed by Brisbane Catholic Education as a support teacher and education officer and is also running a private educational consultancy, Prior Learning, specializing in inclusive, gifted and special needs support internationally and within Australia. Sue is particularly interested in the perspective of the individual learner, be it gifted, special needs or both.

There will also be time for discussion and questions. The seminar will be useful for parents and teachers of gifted children at both the primary and secondary levels. Community members are also welcome to attend. Tea and coffee will be in plentiful supply, as will access to general information on gifted resources and contacts.
